Skeletal formula of enzalutamide
Drug class: Nonsteroidal antiandrogen

Enzalutamide is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen, similar to bicalutamide. It has a higher binding affinity to the androgen receptor than bicalutamide.

Safety

Unlike bicalutamide, enzalutamide is associated with an increased risk of seizures. This may be due to off-target GABAA inhibition. See Wikipedia:Enzalutamide#Central adverse effects for more information.
