RyanC's request for administrator and bureaucrat
Hello! I'm Ryan Castellucci (rya_nc on Reddit, @ryancdotorg on Twitter). I'm very active in a few communities for those interested in gender non-conforming surgeries such as /r/salmacian and its loosely affiliated discord server, and am a moderator on both.
As a non-binary hacker, I've found the lack of well organized resources for people wishing to "genderf*ck around and find out" disappointing, though MadGenderScience is a good starting point. Transfeminine Science has some helpful information, but it's limited in scope. I've been wanting to add information to MadGenderScience, but unfortunately I don't have edit privileges. The admins of this wiki seem to have vanished. I tried popping into the IRC and Discord chats mentioned, but both were deserted. Emailing the admins never elicited a response.
I am giving a talk at a conference in about a week called Hacking Gender: Transition À La Carte where I'm planning to share some information, but while that will be recorded and shared online, the information will be limited in scope due to time constraints and quickly go stale. Since the current admins no longer seem interested in this project, I'm requesting to be given administrator privileges on this wiki to continue its mission.
My plan is to set up a discord community for this wiki, and then leave the existing Project community guidelines as-is for the most part aside from updating the IRC references to reflect discord instead.

- Comment: This process seems to be in order; I've added a sitenotice modeled after the default in place. With limited activity I'm not expecting to see much traffic, but we'll let this run for a while (up to a week, perhaps sooner) to see if anything happens and if not/an original member of wiki staff does not return, I'll go ahead and act on this in their stead in my role as a Steward. - Comment: Hey this is one of the founders here, I can probably give you permissions personally. I have some lingering memories of burnout and harassment that have been keeping me from maintaining the site. My partner LilianaRed still works on the papers library but we were working on migrating it elsewhere. At some point in time I might be able to come back and help but it really hasn't been a priority yet. If you're still interested we do need someone who cares to keep it from crumbling and maybe clean up my spaghetti code.
